Harville Hendrix reminds us that each partner in a relationship has childhood wounds that need to be faced. These old wounds play a role in our adult lives and relationships. But most importantly Hendrix reminds us that we can all stop trying to compete – “Who had it worse?” We can courageously work to help each other heal in relationship. We’re all on the same page and have work to do to become the best version of ourselves.
